BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPE

If you are searching for spectacular views and sunsets, fresh air, beach walks, fishing, golfing and exploring then why not afford yourself and your family a wee slice of Scotland.

Mr Mark Hoey, his wife Kathrine and their young family are the park owners. This development goes hand in hand with their other holiday venture in Morecambe Bay. The family’s vision is to create a holiday park of natural beauty within the boundaries of Monreith village. Monreith Sands Holiday Park has been recently upgraded.

Situated on the breath-taking West Coast of Scotland, Monreith is in a small secluded and tranquil corner of Dumfries and Galloway overlooking Luce Bay as far as the eye can see. The area is steeped in history and there are endless local activities and hidden gems to explore all along this glorious coastline which consists of shallow sandy beaches warmed by the Gulf Stream. Explore the rock pools, eat the freshest of fish, see wild deer and a wealth of sea birds. You can explore Neolithic stone circles and there are miles of secluded romantic walks. VISITOR TESTIMONIALS

While surfing the net for a static Caravan in Scotland we came upon the Monreith Sands Holiday Park. I ask for information and within a day (we live in the US) I heard from Tina. She was very kind, informative and certainly knew what she was talking about. With in a day she had walked Monreith Sands Park and Castlewigg, took pictures and videos to show us what we were looking at to buy. I know It was time consuming for her, but she did it anyway. She answered what seemed like hundreds of questions for us and stayed consistent and engaged in all our communication. We ended up buying in Castlewigg. We are very excited and can not wait to come to Scotland again. If you need an informed, professional Warden to help you, I highly recommend Tina.

Having owned a holiday home at Monreith Sands Park for 9 months it is everything that we could have wished for and more. Mark, the park owner gave us his expertise and excellent service right from the start and his staff are very helpful and friendly. The location could not be better, just a short walk to the villages and beach with its beautiful scenery. We also enjoy the golf courses and there are plenty of places where you can have a nice meal. We look forward to many happy years at Monreith Sands.

Real hidden gem of a holiday park, which we return to time and time again. Amazing views, fresh air, excellent location. Plenty to do around the village and local areas. We found lots of interesting places to take the kids for days out, but they were just as happy playing on the beach, we even went in the sea one day. It wasn’t too cold. The park has had a lot of improvements made recently. The owners are very helpful.

Ramsden Family

Hired a static home for a few days and had a top golfing holiday with some friends, we played all the local courses. Our favourite one was St Medans. We had food and drinks there too the clubhouse is friendly and prices are good. Did some fishing but didn’t catch anything. We had a few days just relaxing and enjoying the fresh air will be back later in the summer and seriously considering buying now that I have seen everything this place has to offer.

We own a Willerby static at Monreith Sands Holiday Park, it is our little escape place. Easy access from the North of England we can be there in in just a couple of hours. We spend weekends and holidays exploring the coast, we let friends use it on occasion. The park is well kept, tidy and recently had some upgrades to it. Our static is nice and cosy, perfect for relaxing.
